Meet Our Qualified Instructors:
Abdirahman Ikar, MA
Ustaad Abdirahman Ikar has been teaching Quran and Islamic Studies since 2011. He has an ijazah in Hafs and has worked as a high school teacher, university counselor & Lecturer, and Islamic School principal. He is a strong advocate for Islamic homeschooling and has been homeschooling for 5+ years.
Umm Maryam
Ustaadah Umm Maryam is a student of Shaykha Shayma and has 4 years of experience teaching the Quran and Islamic Studies. She is a strong advocate for Islamic homeschooling and has been homeschooling for 5+ years.

“Teacher Abdirahman" as my sons call him, is an amazing teacher. His passion for teaching Qur'an and Islam really comes through when he's teaching the kids, mashaAllah! The kids also learn the meaning and background information of each surah. Teacher Abdirahman teaches kids well because he builds a connection with them by actually being interested in them. You know a teacher is a good teacher when the child does not like missing his class.
